I kicked off my 2017 wedding season with this insanely gorgeous couple who flew all the way home from Norway to get married!
While returning home from traveling abroad, Jenny made a last minute stop in Hawaii that changed her life forever. One night at a local bar a handsome marine shamelessly called her over from across the room to talk to her. Little did they know, this night was only the beginning of amazing journey together, despite them parting ways only four days later. After spending the first year of their relationship a part, Jenny and her parents flew to Japan to meet Patrick and soon after Jenny had sold all of her things and moved to Norway so these two could officially start their life together without thousands of miles between them. If there is one thing I admire most about Jenny and Patrick, it is that despite all odds and distance they always found a way to make it work.
Jenny’s dad couldn’t have said it better last Saturday:
“It was never about the ‘right time’ for Jenny and Patrick.”
These two fell in love and never looked back. Too often we look for “a sign” or the “right moment” to make things happen in our life even though we are in control of our destiny. While many would have parted ways knowing that in only a few days they would be miles a part, these two continued to fall in love.
Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Miller! You are both an inspiration to so many couples!
P.S.-Patrick, thank you SO much for your service to our country!
